Hi , My name is Perlita Joy Alcaraz , sounds Spanish  but  proudly Filipino. I am  writer   enthusiast; This story is based on my experienced last April 2013  . I would like to share some useful and practical ways if you are planning to travel with small budget and at the same time in very enjoyable. First, in order to avoid hassle and buzz , one week before the trip , you have to PLAN your way... if you have friends or relatives that been there before, one fastest ways to learn the place you going to. another way is to buy a map and search on googlemap next , plan for things to bring  such as clothing , food , medicine and pocket money. I suggest that if you like to enjoy the trip you can also bring something that can ease the boredom .
Look at us ! we are excited!
BRING ME:
  1. Food - for tight budget, buy some lite snack and some instant food on trip, such as biscuits , bread , coffee, can goods and cup noodles.
  2. Water- this is the most important thing don't forget not to bring this along the trip.
  3. Clothing- include 2 sets of Shirt, pants , underwear and swim wear. I suggest not to carry to many clothes because on the way you can wash and wear at home stay.
  4. Pillows and blanket- for passengers comfort.
  5. Utensils and Plate- for food handling. lastly..
  6. Tool box for maintenance.
  7. Camera for remembrance.

Then we take off in evening , so that we can avoid heavy traffic in Metro Manila. by the way, We ride a 14 seats Van for big bulk and tours. On the way to Ilocos Norte, We have many stop overs , mostly at Gasoline stations so that we can eat, rest and etc.

After long hours of driving and stop overs, at last we made it at Ilocos Norte day one day in afternoon. We used to rent a house rent as they called . it is a common houses that mostly people here use to make a profit too part of eco-tourism . In hotel at resorts is comfortable but little expensive.
as you see , the ambiance is simple yet very refreshing.  16 hours of travel is not spoil , many photos to come so stick around!

The Giant wave was absolutely perfect!

Coconut trees in the Philippines is very abundant in fact we called this as "tree of life" because in a single coconut tree , nothing wasted from leaves to roots. There are many product that it can be produced , such as  soap, lumber, sweeps , food , medicine and others.

This place is a mountainous, before you go to the beach you will pass many hills and mountains . I like to climb on a mountain someday .This is way heading to next province Ilocos Sur.

Not far from the beach , you can see the Famous Wind Mills located at Banggui , Ilocos Norte

Rice is a very important food of a Filipino , this is our staple food. We cannot eat with out rice in table. this rice field is located in Ilocos Norte.
